Specifications and Information:

Delivery Items (please specify);

• CD Audio:  Up to 3 copies on Audio CD (CDRW).
• File Audio: wave / bwave / AIFF / mp3. (Please specify File Format, Sample Size, Sample Rate and Channel Format. i.e. "wave, 24bit, 48kHz, stereo") Up to 2 different File Sets.
• Others / Additional, as negotiated / requested.

Delivery Time;

• For a single track allow at least 2 days clear before delivery (not including postal, upload / download times).
• Multiple Tracks and/or Albums will take longer.
• The Rates listed in this document are for the “in the queue” completion and delivery time. “Rush” work is subject to availability and by negotiation only.  Every effort however, will be made to achieve prompt completion and delivery of projects “in the queue”.

Minimum acceptable audio format;
Sample Rate:	44.1kHz.
Bit Depth:	16bit.
Channel Format:	mono / stereo.
File:	wave / bwave / aiff.
Notes: PCM Audio only. ANY compressed audio format as Original Files is unacceptable.
Audio Signal Specifications;
Channel Format:	Mono/Stereo. Up to 5.1, by arrangement only.
Maximum Peak Signal Level:	-1dB digital clip.
Clear/no sound handles:	0.5 seconds clear of ANY audio signal before and after the audio material (including the reverb tail).
Mix Reference Level:	0VU.
VU Reference Level:	0VU = -18dB clip.
Notes: Please disable any final Signal Maximisers (or the like) in your mixing chain. Some final Compression and Peak Limiting, as required, is OK but not essential. Tracks that show/have evidence of Maximisers will be rejected and delay the process.
Original Media Specifications;
Media:	CDs, DVDs or HDD(Windows PC readable) containing track elements or session files. Downloading is available to correct errors and/or omissions only. For Mastering only; downloading is an available option.
Other Formats;
Sample Rate:	44.1kHz / 48kHz and above.
Bit Depth:	24bit.
Notes: The Main Audio DAW is Nuendo. When mastering, it is operated using 44.1/48kHz (depending on the final delivery Sample Rate) at 32bit for all of the signal processing. Original Files are converted to conform to that specification before any work is started, while Output Files are converted from the resulting 44.1/48kHz, 32bit Master file to the required delivery format specified. Original files should be provided with a maximum Sample Size of 24bits as there are several variations of the 32bit format. These variations can cause incompatibilities. At present, I have rarely used Sample Rates above 48kHz.
